means "bridge" in modern Hebrew, reflecting its founder's desire to bridge the widening gap seen between people's spiritual life and their personal, business, and family life--something we call personal restoration. Gesher is a 501 (C3) corporation recognized by the IRS as a charitable organization dedicated to "helping people walk in all that God intends for them."
Our focus is on people. Everything we do is dedicated to "giving away the very best we have inside us." That may be an article, seminars both in person and on the Web, books, a word of encouragement on CD or radio, financial help to those less fortunate than us, and financial support for others who labor for us and for those works that share our vision.
Here's some more specifics on the ways we help that you can find more information about on this Website:
  • Publishing books and audio CD's which reflect and fulfill our vision.

  • National syndicated inspirational Radio Show, "Robert I. Winer, M.D.'s "Heartwords for Today."
  • Radio Interviews with Robert I. Winer, M.D. on a wide variety of topics.
  • Providing web-based resources on spiritual topics, understanding ourself and others through Myers-Briggs personality and temperament articles, and providing help to doctors and those who work with them (patients and others). This site's "article" section contains timely information on business, conflict resolution, creativity and problem solving, leadership, speech and communication, understanding people, and writing tips that reflect and fulfill our vision.
  • Giving you information on the humanitarian aid we give and ministry we provide. Join us to help meet the physical needs of the suffering people we feel burdened for.
