About BARC

BARC is a Philadelphia organization dedicated to protecting animals.

BARC stands for Buttercup Animal Rescue Center.

Buttercup was a stray cat until we found her. The president of our organization took her in and cared for her. She is now a healthy cat.

We believe that animals shouldn't be left uncared for. We try to do all we can to help stray animals.

Thanks for everything you have done to help us succeed!

Buttercup

Wow! There is a lot to say about Buttercup. First of all, she is a cat now owned by our president. She was a skinny cat when we found her about a year ago. You could see the outline of her bones. She was graciously taken in by our president and taken care of. Because of our help with this cat, the organization was started. It was first called BCC (Buttercup Cat Club), but then got changed to BARC (Buttercup Animal Rescue Center) because we thought we should start to help animals other than cats.
Thanks,
BARC Staff
