This test was originally designed
in the 1930's by the two American physicians at Stanford University
Medical Center. Drs. Horace Gray and Joseph Wheelwright were
Jungian analysts whose test produced a 3 letter Jungian temperament
type. In 2002, I modified the test's 81 questions to calculate
a 4-letter type.
However, I was dissatisfied
with the results because of lack of correlation with the standard
MBTI (Myers-Briggs Temperament Indicator) test. In May, 2006
I completed a thorough reworking of the test questions, reducing
the number of questions to 70. I am now confident that the test
will provide reliable 4-letter typing.
